Welcome to Live Life Outdoors!
Loving My Life Outdoors
My family and I were all born and raised in Idaho. As an Idahoan, spending time in the great outdoors was a natural part of our life. From a young age I fell in love with the wilderness. I have always loved (and I still love) spending as much time as possible outdoors, camping and fishing.
As a kid I remember waiting all year long for summer to come around. Not because it meant no school for three months (although that was definitely an added bonus) but because I knew it meant that it was camping season.
Near the end of the school year my friends would spend months talking about all these big summer vacation plans they had. I would hear about their upcoming trips to Disneyland or some big expensive cruises they were going on, but I just never cared. I was totally ecstatic that my summer would be filled with camping and fishing with my family.
As I got older and had kids of my own, this was definitely a family tradition I have passed on, and one that I know my kids will be passing on to their children.
Find Yourself Outdoors
I could list countless reasons why I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, and in the mountains with my family but instead I want to share this quote that I think speaks volumes.
“There is no wifi in the forest, but I promise you will find a better connection.” – unknown-
My husband and I have five children between us. They are now between the ages of 14 and 21 but they still enjoy our camping trips together and some of their fondest memories are those camping trips we took as a family when they were kids.
It never mattered how much money we had or whether or not we could take them on any big fancy vacations. They look back at the time we shared together, cut off from all electronics (believe it or not they survived just fine) and making memories as a family. They talk about looking forward to taking their kids on their own camping trips.

At Live Life Outddors I want to share my favorites when it comes to the great outdoors. This may be my favorite products I like to use when I go camping, or it may be some tips and tricks for camping with kids.
